BOUNCE has an exciting schedule of activity for 2025
About the Challenge
BOUNCE will launch a series of Challenges in the lead-up to the Live Event in January 2026 at Trinity College Dublin, and which will be aligned with this year’s theme, "BEING".
In collaboration with design experts, participants will engage with tools and techniques that interrogate and respond to a brief, reframe perspectives, and push critical thinking.
BOUNCE values process over predetermined outcomes, encouraging participants to examine, expose, and challenge the structures that shape their thinking.
These Challenges are built as interactive learning experiences—what you bring to the table is just as valuable as what you will take away. Through transdisciplinary collaboration and critical engagement, participants will shape new ways of thinking.
And, the cherry on top - you will be invited to present the findings from your Challenge at the next BOUNCE!

What to expect?
Dive into kinetic typography and liquid experiments, exploring both analog and digital techniques. Expect lots of creative thinking and playful exploration as you mix materials and processes to create unique designs. You’ll also learn how to animate typography using After Effects, blending digital type with analog textures like transparent liquids to add depth and distortion.
Who is it for?
Anyone with basic knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects, and a willingness to experiment and get messy!
What to bring?
• A laptop with Photoshop and After Effects installed (it will need to stand on its monitor, but don't worry—it’s safe!)
• A phone or digital camera with a tripod for capturing work (tripods will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one).
• Please arrive 10 mins ahead of time to get ready for the workshop.
